Membership Requirements
Full Patch Member
- Be nominated at a monthly club meeting by a member in good standing.
- Complete a membership application, emergency medical contact and pay $150 fee.
- Be licensed and insured to operate a motorcycle and show proof to your sponsor.
- You must own or be in the process of purchasing a motorcycle of at least 750cc within 6 months of acceptance.
- Must be able to participate in at least 60% of scheduled monthly meetings and functions.
- Must complete a membership application and background information screening at your cost.
- Successfully complete a minimum 6 months probationary period and a 3 months hang around period.
- Carry a majority vote of acceptance from the general membership.
- Must ride 2500 miles within the probationary period, which is to be verified by a full patch member.
- Must memorize the Buffalo Soldiers motto and present a 5-10 minute presentation on a Buffalo Soldier of the past within the probationary period.
- Agree to abide by both the Kentucky Buffalo Soldiers SOP and the National Constitution.
Associate Member
- Motorcycle ownership is NOT required.
- Must be sponsored by a full patch member.
- Must have the desire and determination to support the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club and abide by the By-Laws.
- Responsible for paying a monthly due and completing a 3 months probationary period and carry a majority vote of acceptance from the general membership.
