About

It all started with a vision that Ken "Dream Maker" Thomas had.

In 1993 the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club was founded by Ken Thomas to socialize men and women who shared similar ideas and the common bond of motorcycling.

We are the world largest African American Motorcycle Club. The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club was formed in 1999, with Chicago chapter being recognized as the mother chapter of the organization. The club has grown to over 120 chapters to date with a chapter in Hawaii and South Korea. All with one common mission to educate on the rich history of the 9th and 10th Cavalry of Buffalo Soldiers who served in the U. S. Army from 1866-1944. The organization is a private not for profit organization who provide donations for local and national tax exempt charities pursuant to 501(c)(3). We ride our motorcycles to represent the horses that were ridden by the Buffalo Soldiers during the 1800’s to demonstrate and promote motorcycle safety in our community.
